# Oracle Aconex
Connect Vrex to Aconex document management
Access your Aconex projects and documents directly from Vrex.

## What You Can Access

The Aconex integration provides:

- Project and folder browsing
- 3D model file access
- Version-controlled documents
- Direct loading into Vrex sessions

## Prerequisites

- Oracle Aconex account with project access
- Vrex workspace with integrations enabled
- API access enabled for your Aconex organization

## Setup

### Step 1: Request API Access

Aconex API access may need to be enabled by your Aconex administrator:

1. Contact your Aconex admin
2. Request API access for Vrex integration
3. Provide the Vrex application ID (contact support@vrex.no)

### Step 2: Connect Your Account

1. In Vrex, go to **Settings** → **Integrations**
2. Find **Oracle Aconex**
3. Click **Connect**
4. Enter your Aconex credentials
5. Select your organization

### Step 3: Browse Projects

Once connected:

1. Open Vrex
2. Navigate to **Integrations** → **Aconex**
3. Browse available projects
4. Select models to load

## Working with Models

### Loading a Model

1. Navigate to the project in Vrex
2. Browse to the folder containing your model
3. Click the model file
4. Wait for processing and loading

### Version Control

Aconex maintains document versions:

- Vrex shows the latest version by default
- Access previous versions from model details
- Version history preserved

## Permissions

Your Aconex permissions apply:

- Only see projects you can access
- Document-level permissions respected
- Admin rights needed for integration setup

## Troubleshooting

| Issue | Solution |
|-------|----------|
| Can't connect | Verify API access is enabled |
| Project missing | Check Aconex permissions |
| Load fails | Confirm file format is supported |

## Security

- OAuth authentication
- No passwords stored in Vrex
- Access tokens refresh automatically
- Disconnect anytime to revoke access
